The directory
Exceptional Traders is a business advertising directory. Inclusion is not an independent assessment of workmanship, qualifications, insurance or financial standing. Customers must check credentials, obtain quotes and agree their work directly with the business.
Directory profiles
Some business profiles are compiled from public business information. These businesses have not necessarily joined or paid. No reviews, ratings or endorsements are implied. Owners can request a claim, correction or removal. Claims require review and evidence of authority before a profile is transferred.
Your listing
By submitting a listing, you confirm you are authorised to represent the business and have rights to its content and images. Provide accurate public business details and keep them current. The owner may request changes, decline, archive or remove misleading or unsuitable submissions.
Advertising price and billing
A professional listing costs £30 GBP per month per business listing. No VAT is added. Creating an account and submitting a profile is free. After approval, you may activate a listing through Stripe checkout. Payment starts at checkout and renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel renewal through Manage billing in your dashboard; paid visibility continues until the end of the paid period. Failed or overdue payment pauses the paid profile until payment is restored. A payment dispute, refund or fraud warning can pause the paid profile pending owner review. A basic directory entry compiled from public information may remain after cancellation; contact us for removal. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests. We do not automatically refund unused parts of a paid period; any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
What’s included
The professional listing provides a business profile, logo, up to 10 project images, services, direct contact details, location and trade categories, and access to a listing dashboard with view and contact-click analytics. Updates require review. Traffic, search rankings, enquiries, leads, jobs, income and area exclusivity are not guaranteed. Website design and paid advertising campaigns are not included.
